Guilt Free Homemade Chocolate + Peanut Butter Bark


The Recipe for this delicious treat is a fairly loose one. I was scraping the bottom of the containers for these, but made it work. Moral of the story, make what you have work!


Ingredients:

1 cup + 1 tbsp peanut butter (or any nut butter you have)

1/2 cup of oat flour (we will cover how to make this)

4 tbsp honey or maple syrup (give or take on this one depending on how sweet you want)

1 cup dark chocolate chips

Sea salt (optional)

Directions:

  • make oat flour - put your rolled oats into a blender until fine, then measure out

  • in a medium bowl mix oat flour, peanut butter, and honey

  • spread evenly on wax paper to desired thickness and place in freezer

  • melt chocolate in microwave in 30 second intervals until melted, stirring in between.

  • spread evenly over peanut butter layer, sprinkle with sea salt (optional) and place back in freezer until firm

  • cut or break off into desired serving sizes

  • store in airtight container in the freezer or fridge
